"While I was trying to get some work done, I realized that I was not making progress so I decided to pick up "The Traveler's Gift" and at least read the first chapterÖ.Well, let me tell you that I did not stop reading until David Ponder found that he still had the little pouch from Chamberlain! This book was the most inspirational attention holding book I have read in a long time. The 7 Decisions of Success is something I had never heard of until I was made aware of you! I am still reading the 1st Decision daily. I want to make sure that I have that ingrained in my spirit. Why? Because that is the hardest hurdle for me is to take responsibility for my past. For so long, I have looked into the past and discovered that others were the cause of my life as I know it today. I would never have done this if they had not done that! It is their fault! And now I read something that tells me that "I" am the cause because of the decisions I madeÖ.. And I am open to receiving that as well?! WOW! That is a lot on a girl at one time. But day by day, and step by step I am learning not only that I am the reason due to my thinking, I am also changing the pattern of my thinking and learning to forgive me for the things I have done to myself. For that, I am eternally grateful to you. You have written it in such a way, that there is no room for attitude or argument. You have plainly stated it as factÖ.and that is how I have accepted it. Now that I know, I can begin the healing. "

"My husband and I have been going through a great deal of personal struggles, both daughters into drugs, our oldest pulled from her inner strength and quit on her own. Several months later became pregnant from a date rape. Our granddaughter has become one of our biggest blessings and our daughter has met a wonderful young man with plans of getting married. A positive out of a negative. Our youngest, 17 did not show up for a court appearance, has a warrant out for her arrest, quit school, moved out. She is afraid to face up to her consequences, but is now clean and we have a better relationship with her now than ever. She has been forced to grow up. Both of their choices have just about taken us into losing everything we have. Struggles... life... it is faith and by the grace of God that we are continuing to move forward in our lives. Your book came at a very timely place in our lives. The principles that have been taught through the many conferences, tapes and books ring loud and clear through your book. I believe I needed a major reminder of those and you did it in a wonderful story. Thank you. "
