Product Description

Michael Holder began his journey as the last young traveler to receive the unique gifts of wisdom offered by historical greats.

In his senior year of high school, Michael hit rock bottom. After being caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, he was suspended from the track team and lost his college scholarship. His coach was angry and his parents disappointed. He was diving headfirst into a downward spiral. Facing the bleak future ahead, he saw no way out and wondered if life was really worth living. But now, with some divine intervention, he's been given a second chance and offered a once-in-a-lifetime journey of discovery.

Rewritten to engage the minds of teens and tweens, The Young Traveler's Gift is sure to encourage and enlighten young men and women as they prepare to face the journeys that lie ahead.

This book will challenge children approx. 9-14 years of age, challenge them to think about their lives, where they're going and the best way to get there.

I gave this book to my grandson as an Easter gift. Kids need to know they have the ability to make their lives whatever they want them to be...this book is one of many tools in the box to achieve that end. Being reminded of the importance and power of one's life and decisions builds inner strength.

I have read The Young Traveler's Gift to my students for 3 years in a row now. I teach 8th graders, and I use this book as a resource to drive home some life lessons that are all illustrated in this book. In addition, as a history class assignment, I have incorporated his creativity for learning lessons from famous people in history and challenged my students to author an "8th" person to meet and creat a chapter to add to the existing book. Its a wonderful assignment and I have been blown away at how much my students digest from this wonderful book. I would reccommend this book to people, genders, races of ANY age. It'll change your life guaranteed. Sincerely, James T. Guy
